First impressions when unboxing
The first thing you will notice when you purchase JULY luggage is that this is a company that is committed to reducing waste. All JULY luggage comes in a cardboard box and upon opening you will be pleasantly surprised to find no plastic packaging. The luggage itself is wrapped in a reusable cloth drawstring bag. Having witnessed the environmental impact of single use plastic during our extensive worldwide travels, we fully support the effort responsible companies such as JULY are taking to reduce plastic packaging.
When purchasing a Carry On Light you have a choice of nine different colours to choose from. Clay, Sky (light blue), Shadow (grey), Navy, Charcoal, Forest (green), Sand, Burgundy, or Monochrome (White). We chose the Shadow colour.
You can further personalise your JULY Carry On by getting lettering of your choice printed on the case. The lettering is available in a range of typesets and colours and upon purchase you can choose the location of where you would like it printed. The personalised lettering is available across the entire range of JULY luggage and is a great way to put your own personal stamp on your bag.

The Carry On Light is a hard shell case and has a sturdy feel. As with other JULY luggage it is constructed with German polycarbonate. We have other larger cases from JULY called the Carry On and the Carry On Pro which are also polycarbonate that we have been using regularly for months and they are still in perfect condition.
The Carry On Light has 360° double spinner wheels and the handle design is a telescopic twin bar that can be height adjusted to suit, this combination of quality easy to glide wheels and the adjustable handle make it very easy to manoeuvre. However, what really sets this case apart from the competition is the weight.
